BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING SEBAGAI PROFESI KHUSUS

Abstract


The rise of BK / K teachers from non-BK educational backgrounds raises the assumption that BK / K teachers can be implemented by all educators. However, with clarity on the standard of academic qualification and competence of counselor as stated in Permendiknas no 27 year 2008 indicates that who can become counselor is educator who has completed the first semester education (S-1) study program and counselor profession education program. Guidance and counseling as a profession have special characteristics with the competence standard and credentials of practitioners, professional code of ethics, professional organization of ABKIN, and recognized skills program so as to gain public trust in the implementation of Guidance and counseling services, educate.
