PLANNING FOR SME TRAINING AND SKILLS PROGRAMS TO IMPROVE THE LOCAL ECONOMY IN THE DIGITAL ERA IN SUKAMULYA VILLAGE

The development of the digital era has had a significant impact on the local economy, including on Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) in Sukamulya Village. The research method used involved surveys, interviews and data analysis to identify the training and skills needs required by SMEs in Sukamulya Village. The results of this research present training program planning that covers critical aspects in the digital era, such as mastery of information technology, online marketing, digital business management, and other relevant skills. This research contributes to further understanding of training and skills program planning strategies to improve the local economy, especially in the context of SMEs in the digital era.

Abstract

This study examines efforts to enhance the pedagogical competence of Early Childhood Education (ECE) educators. The purpose of this study is to describe the application-based digital content creation training model development and its effect on the pedagogical competence of ECE educators. This research employed research and development techniques (Research and Development), a strategy for creating effective educational products. Interviews, questionnaires, observation of documentation studies, and tests were used to collect data for this study. After data collection, quantitative and qualitative analysis are performed. Quantitative analysis is used to determine the validity of research findings by conducting a series of tests. The training results revealed several findings, including the following: 1) an increase in ECE Educator pedagogical competence, 2) an increase in educator participation in training activities, 3) a high level of motivation for learning, and 4) the establishment of interaction between fellow ECE educators to share learning experiences. Training in the creation of digital content effectively and efficiently through the use of various runs. Thus, the developed application-based digital content creation training model can be used as a substitute model to help ECE educators improve their pedagogical competence in managing online learning during this pandemic period.

IMPROVING FARMERS EMPOWERMENT THROUGH TRAINING IN ORNAMENT PLANT SEED MANAGEMENT

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the process of empowering farmers through training in ornamental plant seed management in order to increase farmers' empowerment and ability, strength, and opportunity to develop and improve their quality of life. Qualitative research with a descriptive approach was used in this study. The participants include managers from the Community Learning Center (CLC) Suka Baru, tutors from the CLC Suka Baru, and learning citizens. The study employed field data analysis, which included data reduction, visualization, verification, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicated that: 1) Training planning is conducted in accordance with management procedures, beginning with the development of training instructions, validation, and implementation of training and evaluation programs. Tutors create Learning Implementation Plans (LIP) and schedule instructional materials. 2) The training conducted at CLC Suka Baru concluded successfully. This is demonstrated by the role of tutors, who communicate with and assist learners during training. Tutors deliver training in accordance with the planning that has been delivered and using simple-to-understand learning methods. Health protocols are used to conduct training via online and in-person meetings. 3) The training results indicate that learners improve their ability, knowledge, and understanding of ornamental plants to the point where they can learn how to sell online. This benefits agricultural businesses that manage plant seeds.

IMPROVING EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHERS SKILLS IN CREATING ANIMATED ENGLISH LEARNING MEDIA THROUGH POWERPOINT-BASED ANIMATED MEDIA TRAINING

The issue addressed in this study is early childhood teachers' limited ability to create animated English learning media. Training is one strategy for enhancing teachers' competence. Among the abilities is the ability to create animated educational media. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of animated learning media created with Powerpoint on the ability of early childhood teachers to create animated English learning media. The descriptive qualitative method is used in this study. The respondents in this study included 29 respondents who participated in the introductory research stage and 14 respondents who participated in the training stage. The results indicate that training is being conducted to improve early childhood teachers' abilities to create animated learning media using Powerpoint. As a result, they can incorporate these learning media into their English instruction.

The background of doing this research is motivated by the statement that in the 2013 curriculum extracurriculars that are required for students to follow are scouting extracurricular scouts are important so that scout coaches must have good competence so that students can develop their potential. The purpose of this study is that researchers can find out how the Basic Advanced Course (KMD) training for Scout Leaders Kwartir Branch of West Bandung Regency in improving competence through adult education methods. The theories used are training theory, adult education, KMD theory, and scouting and competency theory.

The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a sample of two committee members and eight participants. Data collection techniques using interviews and observation. The results of the research on Basic Advanced Course Training (KMD) for Scoutmasters Kwartir West Bandung Regency in increasing competence through adult education methods that the training went well according to plan and the trainees received benefits that could be applied when they went to school. In addition, the competence of the participants or scout coaches becomes more developed and can foster students in developing their potential when participating in extracurricular activities.

BEWARE OF THE IMPACT OF STUNTING ON COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT IN EARLY CHILHOOD

The purpose of making this journal is to analyze how to be aware of the impact of stunting on aspects of cognitive development in early childhood so that we can understand the various impacts of stunting which are increasingly widespread and may be difficult to overcome in a fairly short time. The technique used is a literature review where this research focuses on how to minimize the impact of stunting on aspects of cognitive development in early childhood. By participating in this research, there are several types of information through journals, articles, guidebooks, newspapers and magazines that discuss the impact of stunting on cognitive development in early childhood and case study/literature instruments.

IMPROVING EQUIVALENCY EDUCATION PROGRAM PACKAGE C STUDENTSâ€™ ENGLISH VOCABULARIES USING FLASHCARD MEDIA

The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which English vocabulary learning via flashcard media is effective in Package C Equivalency Education Program Students English lesson. This research used a qualitative approach with descriptive method. The data collection began with interview and observation of tutors and CLC managers, in which respondents were asked to provide responses or opinions on the effectiveness of English vocabulary learning through flashcard media. Research participants also were given an initial test (pretest) to determine their vocabulary knowledge, with the lowest score of 20 and the highest score of 40, followed by action or reflection, and finally retested (posttest) with a maximum score of 40 and a minimum score of 60. The findings of this study indicate that using flashcards media could improve equivalency education program Package C studentsâ€™ English vocabularies.

DEVELOPMENT ANDROID-BASED ONLINE LEARNING MEDIA WITH GIF ANIMATIONS AND WHATSAPP APPLICATIONS TO IMPROVE UNDERSTANDING OF BODY ANATOMY SUBJECT MATTER

The COVID-19 pandemic is the background for the more extensive development of online learning media used by education in the teaching and learning process. Media and teaching materials are crucial parts of the learning process, especially in online learning. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the development of learning media using WhatsApp and Android GIF animation on the subject of Body Anatomy can be understood by students. The research objective is to find out the development of media and teaching materials on the Body Anatomy subject using WhatsApp media and Android GIF animations. The research was carried out using the R&D method. Online learning media were developed through the validation stage by material experts and media experts. The attractiveness of learning media is based on small-scale trials carried out on 12 students and large-scale trials carried out on 22 students. The test subjects were carried out on 8th grade package B students at PKBM At-Tajdid, Cimahi City. So, the WhatsApp learning media and Android GIF animations that were developed received research in the interesting category and are suitable to be used as learning media for Package B on the Body Anatomy subject.

THE ROLE OF HUMAN RESOURCES IN THE MANAGEMENT OF NON-FORMAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

The aim of this research is to analyze the role of human resources, the management process of non-formal educational institutions, and the obstacles to their management. The method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive type. This research was conducted at the North Sangatta Kasih Bapa Foundation. This research instrument consisted of eight people. The research results show that the management of non-formal education institutions is carried out through planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. The management of non-formal educational institutions at the Kasih Bapa Foundation has been running well, although there are differences in the implementation process with other institutions. This does not reduce the impact resulting from the program implementation process. Meanwhile, the role of human resources in non-formal educational institutions is carried out through the process of designing, improving, managing, recruiting, and motivating human resources. The obstacles to managing non-formal educational institutions include teaching staff and parents of students. It is hoped that with a better understanding of the role of human resources, we can identify challenges, opportunities, and strategies that can be implemented to increase the contribution of non-formal education institutions to education and the development of society as a whole.

THE ROLE OF AL-BAROKAH FAMILY EMPOWERMENT SERVICE (POSDAYA) ORGANIZERS IN A COMMUNITY ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT AT SEKARWANGI VILLAGE, RAWAMERTA, KARAWANG

The present study aims to unearth the contribution by Al-Barokah Family Empowerment Service (hereinafter Posdaya) organizers to the promotion of entrepreneurship in the communities and to explore supporting and inhibiting factors of Posdaya project implementation in boosting the entrepreneurial commitment of Sekarwangi Village, Rawamerta District, Karawang Regency. Employing qualitative case study methodology, the research used observation, interview, and documentation techniques to collect the data. Results reveal that the role of the community organizers in general was carried out effectively. This was reflected in Posdaya management of four areas including education, health, economy and environment where learning motivation, healthy living, entrepreneurship and productivity are enhanced. Findings also indicate that the high motivation of the community organizers and residents is the most influential factor supporting the development. While the lack of early childhood educational staff, the lack of educational supports, lack of building capacity; the lack of capital and unorganized administrative accounting; the lack of healthcare providers, and the lack of facilities and infrastructure are the major obstacles to the education, economic, and health empowerment.
