Aggressiveness can be manifested in the form of words or physical actions aimed at hurting other people. This research aims to find out how the use of the traditional bakiak panjang games reduces aggressive behavior in junior high school students. The research sample consisted of 12 students selected through a pretest using the purposive sampling method. Data was collected through a Likert scale questionnaire which measures students' level of aggressiveness. This questionnaire was distributed to class VII Babul Maghfirah students and the results were analyzed. The research results show that the calculated t value of 7.750 is higher than the t table value of 1.795, (7.750 > 1.795). This shows a decrease in the level of students' aggressive behavior. Therefore the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted while the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. In conclusion, the implementation of the traditional bakiak panjang games can help reduce aggressive behavior in students. This research can be a reference for further research regarding the use of the bakiak panjang games as a medium to reduce students' aggressive behavior.
Evi Zuhara Mila Mardewi Ubat Copyright (c) 2024 evi zuhara evi, Mila Mardewi Ubat http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-05-20 2024-05-20 8 2 118 128 10.22460/quanta.v8i2.4761 The Influence of Internal Locus of Control on Academic Procrastination in High School Students https://e-journal.stkipsiliwangi.ac.id/index.php/quanta/article/view/4705

Academic procrastination is a problem often experienced by students. This research aims to determine the influence of internal locus of control on academic procrastination in class X students at SMA Negeri 9 Semarang. The research design used is ex post facto quantitative research. The study population was all first-grade students totaling 396 students. The research sample was taken with a simple random sampling technique totaling 180 students. The research instrument used a 20-item internal locus of control scale developed from Levenson’s theory (1981) and a 14-item academic procrastination scale developed from Ferrari’s theory (1995) theory. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The level of academic procrastination is in the high category (M = 49.15; SD = 5.78) and the level of internal locus of control is in the high category (M = 69.46’ SD = 8.174). Hypothesis testing shows that there is an influence of internal locus of control on academic procrastination (R2= 0.900, ρ < 0.05). This means that the internal locus of control contributes to academic procrastination by 90%, while the rest is influenced by other factors. Recommendations for future researchers can examine the role of internal locus of control on academic procrastination in terms of gender.
Tiara Prawitasari Suhendri Suhendri Copyright (c) 2024 Tiara Prawitasari, Suhendri Suhendri http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-05-16 2024-05-16 8 2 129 138 10.22460/quanta.v8i2.4705 Konseling Kelompok Siswa Kesulitan Belajar Spesifik di Sekolah Dasar Inklusi https://e-journal.stkipsiliwangi.ac.id/index.php/quanta/article/view/4762
The purpose of this study is to examine the role of counseling in helping to solve various problems of students with specific learning difficulties in inclusive elementary schools. Through a literature review research method, we examined a number of research articles discussing practices and challenges in the implementation of classical guidance services. The research findings indicate that various methods such as Project Based Learning (PJBL), Problem Based Learning (PBL), Cooperative Learning, Experiential Learning, and Discovery Learning have been proven effective in enhancing various aspects of students' development. The research also identifies some challenges in the implementation of classical guidance services, including lack of communication between guidance counselors and homeroom teachers, resource limitations, and lack of understanding or confidence from guidance counselors regarding the methods to be applied. Thus, this research provides insights into various methods that can be used in the implementation of classical guidance services as well as the challenges that may be encountered in the implementation process. It is expected to contribute to the development of guidance and counseling practices in schools.
Amelia Dhamara Sofyati Halmahera Anisa Dwi Pratanti Dhika Chelvian Satya Benardy Sholikhul Huda Copyright (c) 2024 Amelia Dhamara Sofyati Halmahera, Anisa Dwi Pratanti , Dhika Chelvian Satya Benardy, Sholikhul Huda http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-05-28 2024-05-28 8 2 149 161 10.22460/quanta.v8i2.4767
