Primaryedu, Journal of Primary Teacher Education, published by the Primary Teacher Education Study Program of STKIP Siliwangi Bandung (IKIP Siliwangi), Indonesia, is an international journal that provides a forum for publishing original research articles and review articles. It is published twice a year, in February and September. Scientific articles dealing with design research, development research, and similar topics are particularly welcome. The journal encompasses research articles, original research reports, reviews, short communications, and scientific commentaries in the field of Primary Teacher Education.
All papers submitted to the journal should be written in proper English or Bahasa Indonesia. Authors for whom English is not their native language are encouraged to have their papers checked for grammar and clarity before submission. English language and copyediting services can be provided by International Science Editing and Asia Science Editing. Submitted works must not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. The official languages for manuscripts in Primaryedu are English and Bahasa Indonesia.
All manuscripts must be submitted to the Primaryedu Editorial Office via Online Submission at the e-journal portal: http://e-journal.stkipsiliwangi.ac.id/index.php/primaryedu. Three types of manuscripts are acceptable for publication:
Manuscripts should be prepared according to the author guidelines using the provided MS Word or PDF templates. Templates can be downloaded [here (MS Word)] or [here (PDF)].
Every submitted paper is independently reviewed by at least two peer reviewers. Decisions regarding publication, amendments, or rejection are based on their recommendations. If reviewers consider a manuscript unsuitable for publication, the authors will receive a statement explaining the decision within three months of submission.
Manuscripts sent back for revision must be returned promptly. Revised manuscripts can be resubmitted via the Online Submission Interface (link). Manuscripts returned more than three months after the revision request will be treated as new submissions.
A Graphical Abstract is mandatory and should summarize the article concisely in a pictorial form. Submit the graphical abstract as a separate file during online submission or via email (after manuscript acceptance) to [email protected]. Ensure the manuscript number is included in the email subject.

Primaryedu is an open-access journal. Since 2017, no fees are charged at submission. Payment is required only after the manuscript is accepted for publication.
All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA). Articles are open access and free for everyone to read and download.
Title Page:
Include the title (14 pt, bold), author names (12 pt), affiliations (10 pt), and contact details of the corresponding author.
Abstract:
Provide a concise abstract (200 words max) in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, followed by up to five keywords.

Include clear titles and captions, and ensure they are numbered consecutively.
The author is responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any copyrighted figures, tables, data, or text used in the submitted paper. Authors should note that text quotations exceeding 250 words from a published or copyrighted work will require written permission from the original publisher for reprinting. The permission letter(s) must be submitted along with the manuscript.
