PEMEROLEHAN BAHASA PADA ANAK USIA 5 TAHUN PENDERITA AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS: TATARAN FONOLOGI

This study aims to identify and interpret language sound patterns and types of language sound errors that are often made by 5-year-old children with Autism Spectrum Disorders with the initials ZF. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method that can provide a comprehensive understanding and more holistic insight with direct techniques such as unstructured interviews conducted with the subject and direct observation of the subject, as well as indirect techniques by taking notes and recordings that can complement each other to ensure the validity of the research data. The data analysis techniques used in this study are intralingual matching and referential matching, so that it is able to reveal the results of the data analysis in this study in the form of speech skills of 5 year old children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) are relatively low with limitations, so that three errors in language sound patterns are found, namely phoneme substitution, phoneme removal (delection) phonemes), and addition phonemes. These errors indicate a challenge in distinguishing and producing the correct sound, which can lead to misunderstandings in communication and social interaction.
