KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA DAN GAYA BELAJAR ANAK BERKEBUTUHAN KHUSUS MELALUI PROGRAM PEMBELAJARAN INDIVIDUAL DI KABUPATEN MAJALENGKA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kemampuan membaca dan gaya belajar anak berkebutuhan khusus melalui Program Pembelajaran Individual (PPI) di sekolah inklusi Kabupaten Majalengka. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus ganda (multiple case study), dengan melibatkan lima sekolah inklusi sebagai lokasi penelitian. Setiap kasus dianalisis secara mendalam untuk memahami karakteristik individu peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus, strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan dalam PPI serta efektivitas pendekatan tersebut terhadap perkembangan kemampuan membaca dan gaya belajar siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan guru pendamping khusus dan guru kelas serta analisis dokumen PPI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan membaca dan gaya belajar anak berkebutuhan khusus sangat bervariasi tergantung pada jenis kebutuhan khusus dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang diberikan. PPI terbukti menjadi strategi efektif dalam memfasilitasi kebutuhan belajar secara personal, namun pelaksanaannya sangat dipengaruhi oleh kompetensi guru dan dukungan lingkungan sekolah. Temuan ini merekomendasikan penguatan pelatihan guru dan kolaborasi lintas profesional untuk optimalisasi pembelajaran inklusif di tingkat satuan pendidikan.
