GAMBARAN MOTIVASI INTERNAL PADA ANAK SOCIAL WITHDRAWAL USIA PRASEKOLAH

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang motivasi internal anak social withdrawal di lingkungan sekolah dan mengetahui riwayat kehidupan sosial serta emosi anak social withdrawal. Social withdrawal menggambarkan interaksi diri dengan rekan dengan berbagai motivasi yang berbeda. Motivasi social withdrawal muncul dalam berbagai alasan mengapa anak-anak melakukan social withdrawal, yaitu: Alasan pertama anak melakukan social withdrawal menyangkut aspek nonfearful untuk kegiatan soliter, yaitu beberapa anak kurang terlibat dalam interaksi sosial karena mereka tidak ramah dan hanya memilih bermain sendiri (unsociability). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif yang bersifat studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisa kasus berdasarkan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kasus I berhubungan dengan dysregulation aspek emosional yang secara khusus berkaitan dengan rasa takut, kecemasan, dan malu. Sedangkan kasus II menyangkut aspek nonfearful untuk kegiatan soliter. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, mengindikasikan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi social withdrawal pada anak usia prasekolah adalah kondisi kesehatan, kepribadian orang tua, dan lingkungan keluarga.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to obtain a description of internal motivation of social withdrawal children in the school environment and know social life and emotional of social withdrawal children. The method used in this research is qualitative with case study design. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. The result of case analysis based on this study shows that case I is associated with emotional aspect dysregulation which is specifically related to fear, anxiety, and embarrassment. While case II concerns nonfearful aspects of solitary activities. The result of this study shows that factors that affect social withdrawal in preschoolers are health conditions, parent's personality, and family environment.
