Quanat Jurnal was first published in 2017. Until now, the journal has published articles through a double-blind peer review system and open access to disseminate the state-of-the-art knowledge in the field of Guidance and Counseling in education (schools and higher education), Family and Community. The journal is published three a year (January,May and September. Quanta Journal, Volume 1, Issue 1, September 2017 is the first edition. The management of the journal used an online system (Open Journal System / OJS). This journal is managed and published by UPT Publikasi dan HKI, IKIP Siliwangi.

On November 30, 2017, Quanta Journal was registered with International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) 2614-2198 (online media). On Januari 22, 2018 it was registered with International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) 2614-6223 (print media) by the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).
