Abstract

Identifikasi identitas vokasional adalah tantangan yang dihadapi sebagian besar individu ketika memasuki fase transisi dari masa remaja ke masa dewasa awal. Teori perkembangan psikososial menunjukkan bahwa remaja yang akan memasuki masa dewasa awal harus sudah dapat mengidentifikasi identitas vokasionalnya. Artikel ini meneliti literatur identitas vokasional untuk mengidentifikasi hubungannya dengan faktor-faktor yang relevan dengan perkembangan psikososial pada remaja akhir dan bagaimana remaja akhir mengidentifikasi status identitas vokasionalnya. Faktor-faktor tersebut ditinjau dari teori psikososial yang dikembangkan oleh Erikson, dimana individu akan mengalami krisis identitas pada tahap kelima (identity vs role confusion), dan juga teori identitas vokasional yang dikembangkan oleh Marcia yang menjelaskan mengenai status identitas vokasional individu dilihat dari eksplorasi dan komitmennya. Artikel ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi tentang perkembangan remaja dan bagaimana remaja mengidentifikasi idetitas vokasionalnya dengan memberikan integrasi bukti empiris yang ada pada titik remaja akhir.
