Peer Review Process

The submitted manuscript will first be reviewed by the editorial team to assess its conformity with the PrimaryEdu: Journal of Primary Education focus and scope, as well as to ensure it meets basic submission standards. Manuscripts are also screened for plagiarism using Turnitin to verify the originality of the work.

Manuscripts deemed suitable will proceed to the peer review stage, where they will be evaluated by at least two anonymous reviewers under a double-blind peer review process. Reviewers are tasked to assess the manuscript’s contribution, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, and clarity of presentation.

The reviewers' comments and recommendations will be forwarded to the corresponding author for necessary revisions and responses. Authors are expected to revise their manuscripts based on the feedback and provide a point-by-point response to reviewers' comments.

The editorial board will discuss the reviewers' evaluations and the author's revisions before making a final decision on the manuscript. The Editor-in-Chief will communicate the final decision to the corresponding author.

Review Outcomes

Following the peer review and editorial evaluation, manuscripts may receive one of the following decisions:

  1. Reject
The manuscript is not suitable for publication, and resubmission of a revised version is not permitted.

  2. Resubmit for Review
Substantial changes are required. A significantly revised version may be resubmitted for a new round of peer review.

  3. Accept with Revisions
The manuscript is conditionally accepted, pending minor or major revisions. Final acceptance is contingent on satisfactory revision and approval by the editorial team.

  4. Accept
The manuscript is accepted in its current form and will proceed to the production stage without requiring further modifications.

Authors are given a maximum of two weeks to complete revisions after receiving feedback. Delayed revisions may result in the manuscript being considered a new submission.
