English: Student well-being has an important role in optimizing students in achievement. However, students tend to have low student well-being due to a lot of academic pressure. This study aims to determine how much effect academic stress has on student well-being in senior high school students. Quantitative research using an inductive approach with the type of causality research on 219 students. Educational Stress Scale of Adolescents (ESSA) and Student Subjective Well-Being Questionnaire (SSWQ) were used as data collection tools. The results showed that there was no effect of academic stress on student well-being. Overall, most students have a moderate level of academic stress and student well-being. From the results of this study, the researchers suggest for future researchers to examine other factors that can affect student well-being besides academic stress, such as motivation, coping strategies, social support, forgiveness, self-esteem. Indonesia:Student well-being berperan penting untuk mengoptimalisasikan diri siswa dalam mencapai prestasi. Namun, siswa cenderung memiliki student well-being yang rendah disebabkan banyaknya tekanan akademik. Educational Stress Scale of Adolescents (ESSA) dan Student Subjective Well-Being Questionnaire (SSWQ) digunakan sebagai alat pengambilan data. References
