Post-Publication Discussion
Jurnal Ilmiah P2M STKIP Siliwangi welcomes constructive scholarly discussion of its published articles. Post-publication discussion provides an opportunity to clarify methods, examine interpretations, identify limitations, and support the continuing development of educational knowledge.
1. Submission of Comments
Readers may submit comments or questions to the editorial office through the journal’s Contact page:
https://e-journal.stkipsiliwangi.ac.id/index.php/p2m/about/contact
Submissions should include:
-
The title and DOI or URL of the article.
-
The contributor’s name, affiliation where applicable, and contact details.
-
A clear explanation of the issue being discussed.
-
Relevant evidence or references.
-
Any competing interests.
2. Standards for Discussion
Comments must be relevant, evidence-based, respectful, and sufficiently clear for editorial assessment. Personal attacks, discriminatory statements, unsupported accusations, promotional content, and disclosure of confidential or identifying participant information are unacceptable.
A reasoned disagreement with an article’s interpretation is welcome and does not, by itself, establish an error or misconduct.
3. Editorial Assessment and Author Response
The editor will assess the relevance and scholarly substance of the comment. Independent expert advice may be requested where necessary.
The authors of the original article will normally be invited to respond. The editor may seek clarification from either party before determining the appropriate outcome.
4. Communication and Publication
The journal may address a comment through direct correspondence or, where it contributes materially to the scholarly record, publish an editorially assessed commentary, author response, or other notice linked to the original article.
Publication is subject to editorial assessment and does not imply endorsement of the contributor’s views. Post-publication correspondence is distinct from the journal’s regular manuscript categories.
5. Errors and Ethical Concerns
Comments identifying possible errors will be considered under the Correction and Retraction Policy. Allegations involving research or publication misconduct will be assessed under the Allegations of Research Misconduct Policy.
Relevant correspondence and decisions will be retained in the editorial record.
